Bourse Ronan Guillou #3 : L’homme et le monde marin autour du territoire de Sète, étang de Thau et du Golfe du Lion. 

Photographes européen·nes et des rives sud de la Méditerranée, vous avez un projet associant l’humain et le monde marin, candidatez à la 3ème édition de la Bourse Ronan Guillou, 4000€ pour réaliser un projet entre Sète, étang de Thau et le Golfe du Lion !

En 2025, avec le soutien de la ville de Sète et M28 terres de culture, une bourse de création photographique est proposée aux photographes européen·nes professionnel·les et de la rive Sud de la Méditerranée.

À partir d’un même territoire - la région Occitanie - CIVIS MARITIMUS invite pour sa troisième édition un·une photographe à produire un projet photographique engagé sur des questions de société, culturelles, écologiques et/ou patrimoine mettant en lien l’humain et le monde marin.

Le projet devra explorer les enjeux de notre avenir en synergie avec la mer et/ou défendre une vision progressiste – ou militante – pour éveiller radicalement les consciences sur ces sujets. Il pourra aborder des questions touchant à l’écologie, à l’activité humaine, à la notion d’héritage ou bien encore à la relation du territoire avec d’autres zones du bassin méditerranéen.

Cet appel est ouvert aux photographes professionnel·les européen·nes et de la rive sud de la Méditerranée (sans limite d'âge) souhaitant développer un projet photographique engagé touchant aux questions de l’Homme et la mer Méditerranée autour du territoire de Sète, étang de Thau et du Golfe du Lion (région Occitanie). 

Le·la photographe boursier·e aura une période de deux mois pour réaliser leur projet. Une restitution partielle sera organisée en septembre 2025. Il·elle aura l’obligation d’être présent·e à Sète le 5 mai 2025 (date provisoire) pour l'annonce publique. Une rencontre en public sera organisée pour présenter sa démarche. Il ou elle bénéficiera d’un logement à Sète pendant la période du 5 mai au 5 juillet 2025. La troisième édition de la Bourse Ronan Guillou est soutenue par la ville de Sète et M28 terres de culture.

LE DOSSIER DE CANDIDATURE DOIT COMPRENDRE :

• Formulaire de candidature dûment rempli en ligne (ci-contre après la liste d'information) et le règlement paraphé et signé : TÉLÉCHARGER ICI 
• Une Biographie et un CV - format PDF 
• Un note d'intention du projet (elle peut être accompagnée d'images si celui-ci est déjà en cours) - minimum 3.000 signes au format PDF 
• Un portfolio du travail du.de la photographe - 25Mo maximum format PDF 
• Merci de préciser tous partenaires éventuels (auteur·ices, scientifiques, organisations..)

The Ronan Guillou Grant #3: Man and the marine world around the territory of Sète, Thau pond (étang de Thau) and French Mediterranean region of the Gulf of Lion.

European photographers and from the southern shores of the Mediterranean, you have a project associating man and the marine world, apply for the 3rd edition of the Ronan Guillou Grant, 4000€ to realize a project between Sète, étang de Thau and the Gulf of Lion !

In 2025, with the support of the city of Sete and M28 lands of culture, one photographic creation grant will be offered to professional European photographers from the southern shores of the Mediterranean.

Based on the same territory - the Occitanie region - CIVIS MARITIMUS invites one photographer from Europe and the southern shores of the Mediterranean, to produce a committed photographic project.

The projects should explore the issues of our future in synergy with the sea and/or defend a progressive - or militant - vision to radically raise awareness on these subjects. It may address issues related to ecology, human activity, the notion of heritage or the relationship of the territory with other areas of the Mediterranean basin.

This call is open to professional photographers from Europe and the southern shore of the Mediterranean (no age limit) wishing to develop a photographic project on the issues of man and the Mediterranean Sea around the territory of Sete and the Gulf of Lion (Occitania region).

The award-winning photographer will have a period of two months to complete his/her project. A partial restitution will be organized in September 2025. The winner will be required to be present in Sète on May 5, 2025 (to be confirmed) for the public announcement. A public meeting will be organized to present his/her work. He/she will benefit from accommodation in Sète during the period from May 5 to July 5, 2025. The 3rd edition of the Ronan Guillou grant is supported by the town of Sète and M28 lands of culture.

THE APPLICATION FILE MUST INCLUDE :

• A Biography and a CV - PDF format
• A note of intent of the project (it can be accompanied by images if it is already in progress) - minimum 3,000 signs in PDF format
• A portfolio of the photographer's work - 25Mb maximum in PDF format. Please specify all possible partners (authors, scientists, organizations ...)
