We're ready to begin another season of the Remembrance Farm Raw Milk Share!
We will again be offering a three month season -- June, July, and August.
First bottling will be Friday, June 6th, 2025 and each subsequent Friday through Friday, August 29th, 2025. Pick-up is anytime from Friday at Noon through Tuesday evening.
If you selected Automatic Member Renewal last season, there's no need to sign-up again. You will be receiving a confirmation email following this email for the number of raw milks you're signed up for. All you need to do at that point is, as usual, bring payment to the first pick-up in June or pay online.
Share Options:
Option 1: Automatic Membership Renewal: for those wanting to skip the hassle of signing up every 3-month cycle, this option automatically signs you up for future raw milk
seasons. We'll send out a payment reminder each quarter near the 3-month mark and that will be all that's necessary to continue as a raw milk member. Just let us know when you'd like to pause or cancel your auto-renewal / membership and we'll make that change.
Option 2: One-Timer: for those only wanting to commit to the current 3-month cycle. You
are still welcome of course to sign up for any future seasons.
Details:
Each share is one 1/2 gallon glass jar of 100% grass-fed, Organic and Biodynamic whole milk that's non-homogenized and totally raw. They are priced at $25/month with a one time bottle fee of $12 for new members. This is not a deposit and will not be refunded, but will cover any subsequent season of membership.
Returning Jars:
We ask you to return clean jars when you've finished the milk. Part of the reason we can keep costs low is that members return clean jars each week when they come to pick up their next milk. We then re-wash / sanitize these jars and are able to reuse them for subsequent bottlings. Please place your washed jar each week on the shelves where you pick up your next bottle of raw milk.
Payment:
For payment, we prefer cash or check in full, on the first pick-up. Please leave payment in the cash box on the shelf inside the walk-in or pinned to the cork board outside. Please note your name with payment.
If you need to pay online, we now offer a PayPal / credit card option to those who select it in the sign-up process. There is an additional 3.5% fee for the online payment option to cover our costs for offering this option. You can access this payment option anytime on our website. You will need to select the number of shares in the dropdown box to ensure the payment total is correct. For this Spring season, please only select One Share as this is the maximum we are able to offer each member this quarter.
Pickup Instructions:
Per NYS law, all raw milk must be picked up on the farm, here at 6294 Searsburg Road in Trumansburg. Just inside the main barn door, to the right is a large walk-in cooler. Once inside, again on the right are the dairy shelves. There will be a list of members where you can mark receipt of milk, each week . Please select a milk with a brown label noting RAW MILK. There will also be pasteurized products in the cooler, so please be careful to select the correct milk.
