What is your ideal length of fellowship?

2 Week Program (financial support of 3'000.- CHF for travel and accommodation):

- A 2-week intensive curriculum with local experts in journalism, multimedia storytelling, and design. The program will include daily workshops with local experts, networking events, expert talks, and site visits.

- Individual support with Swissnex staff to set program goals and facilitate introductions to relevant contacts, as well as with external local mentors, prior and during the multimedia lab.

- Visibility at public events: Participate in public events and other activities, providing a platform to showcase your work and interact with the local community of journalists.

- Desk space within Swissnex in San Francisco, access to meeting rooms and shared resources.

- Financial support available to selected applicants, funded by the Gebert Rüf Stiftung, enabling participants to travel to San Francisco for 2 weeks to up to three months.

4-12 Weeks (financial support of 4'000.- CHF for travel and housing) - same as above, plus:

- Continued coaching on milestones with Swissnex staff and external mentors

- The participant will be encouraged to work with a local experts for the realization of a multimedia production and present its work at a public event.
