The Friends of Providence is a newly created philanthropic friend and fundraising group geared towards Pittsburgh young professionals who want to make a difference in the Northside through volunteering their time and expertise to families in crisis at Providence Connections. The FPC is charged with creating a community of rising leaders in support of advancing the North Side and the families we serve. Over the course of the year, this group of volunteers holds a variety of fundraising and recruitment activities, led by the FPC Executive Committee.
The Friends of Providence Executive Committee’s primary goal is to direct and provide leadership in areas of membership, recruiting, outreach, and fundraising. As representatives of the Young Professionals, the Executive Committee assists in the implementation of goals and objectives which will serve to fulfill our mission. As the primary governing/advising body of the Young Professionals, the Executive Committee also has the responsibility to establish and evaluate membership guidelines, recruitment, education, and orientation. The President of the Executive Committee is Providence Connections Board Member Brittny McGraw, WPXI Anchor.
