Community Partner Proposal Application - 2025 Projects
Submission deadline is September 6, 2024 for projects in 2025.  Contact Action Lab Coordinator, Derin O. Atalay, at derin.atalay@trincoll.edu, for any questions.
  
The selection of these proposals is conducted by the Hartford Resident Advisory Board at the Action Lab, adhering to the following criteria for consideration:
  1. Contribution to Improving Hartford and/or the Lives of its Residents

  2. Significant Learning Opportunities for Students

  3. Achievability for undergraduates within a semester timeframe

We aim to provide you with meeting opportunities to support you in crafting a strong and impactful proposal while ensuring that you have all the information you need to proceed confidently. We will be offering 3 Zoom Q&A sessions throughout the summer (more if needed!) designed to:

-Explain the process of submitting and reviewing proposals, and project selection
-Show you examples of good research proposals that were accepted in the past
-Show you examples of student project work and products created, and how they were utilized by the organization
-Discuss any specific questions you have about your proposal idea

If you’d like more input after attending an info session, Action Lab staff are more than happy to continue meeting with you to help develop your research concept.
