Honors Peer Advisors in leadership positions are expected to attend regular planning meetings with Catherine Chandler and other members of the UHP staff. Please apply for only one position and be sure to complete the general Peer Advisor Application as well.

The 2017-2018 Honors Peer Advisor leadership roles will be:

Training Coordinator:
The Training Coordinator will organize and lead periodic trainings, send follow-up emails after meetings recapitulating reminders and content, and manage scheduling. The Training Coordinator will coordinate with the UHP and manage communications and official published content from the Honors Peer Advisors, for example on the UHP blog. The nature of these duties will demand an intense but periodic time commitment.

Data Coordinator:
The Data Coordinator will cultivate accountability and development through tracking advisor responsibilities and the internal mentorship program within the Honors Peer Advisors. They will create and manage a checklist of advisor responsibilities as well as a database of advisors and other Honors students. They will work with Mary Rothemich to coordinator a calendar of blog posts from peer advisors. The Data Coordinator will design surveys to elicit feedback. Finally, they will coordinate the Honors Peer Advising Program with external UHP programming organization. The nature of these duties will demand a consistent time commitment throughout the year.

Summer Coordinator:
The Summer Coordinator will manage the interactions between advisors and first year students. They will be responsible for pairing advisors with students and guiding advisors’ outreach to first year students. The nature of these duties will demand the candidate be on campus for most of the summer.
