Your organization can join the MassDivest Coalition as an Active Member Organization or as an Endorsing Organization.  

Active Member Organizations are groups that have made the commitment to do the following:
a. Twice/year show up to lobbying meetings (if the organization has a lobbyist)
b. Put word out to membership when asked at least once/year (e.g. “sign the petition,” “come to rally,” etc.).  
c. Designate a contact person who would try to attend monthly Coalition meetings.  
d. Agree to be open to being asked to donate some resources, when appropriate.
Each Active Member Organization may select a representative to sit on the Coalition’s Coordinating Committee which meets weekly by phone.

Endorsing Member Organizations are ones that cannot make that level of commitment but agree with the goals of the Coalition (Divestment of the state pension fund from fossil fuels) and agree to be listed as an endorser of the campaign.
