Regional Competition Assignment
At the regional, state and national finals, students must have three poems prepared to recite. One poem must be 25 lines or fewer and one must be written before the 20th century. The same poem may be used to meet both criteria and may be the student’s third poem. Please list the Names of Poems and Poets in order of recitation for the Regional Competition. (These cannot be changed before the regional or state finals.) Please provide precise information as it appears in the POL online anthology at http://www.poetryoutloud.org/poems-and-performance/find-poems. *
