The Africa Wiki Challenge is aimed at getting contributions on Africa from Africans, in Africa and in the diaspora. This is an initiative hosted by Open Foundation West Africa and supported by the Wikimedia Foundation. It seeks to generate Africa-related content on Wikipedia.
This year, we are focused on covering content about our historical landmarks and any place that is significant to any country in Africa. We are looking to project not only these places, but to highlight the stories and the value they hold.
The theme for this year is; “Landmarks in Africa”
