Fontbonne University Archives wants your memories! For the Centennial, Fontbonne University Archives & Special Collections launched a three-year initiative to gather and exhibit microhistories from the last hundred years of campus life. Memories can include narrative descriptions of your experiences or physical objects like letters, photos, campus publications, Fontbonne memorabilia, or anything else you think of that we can photograph or scan to add to the digital collection.

My best memory of Fontbonne comes from the night of my Baccalaureate Mass. My father was a letter carrier and early in his career, he delivered to Fontbonne. He thought that it was a prestigious school for wealthy girls. As we walked into mass, he told me how proud he was that his daughter was graduating from there. I still get a lump in my throat thinking of that day.

I became a licensed CPA in 1987 and worked in various jobs until 1991 when i moved into the accounting department for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and moved up to become the Supply Commissioner for the City of St. Louis. I retired from the POlice Department in 2018 and became the Chief Financial Officer for the Regional Justice INformation Service.
In addition, I married and have two daughters, one step son and step daughter and four grandchildren.
