UNC Charlotte National Board Support Cohort
UNC Charlotte's National Board Support Cohort will meet three or four times throughout the academic year at strategically scheduled intervals to support teachers' developmental trajectory while they work through the process. Each of these cohort sessions will occur on Saturday at a to-be-determined location on the UNC Charlotte Main Campus for about 3 hours each session. All teachers from all districts are welcome, whether seeking National Board Certification or already National Board Certified and looking for leadership opportunities to support and connect with other teachers.

The goal of each cohort session will be to
  • Provide teachers with direct and timely information about the National Board process (essentially answer the questions: "What should I be working on right now, and what should I be planning for in the near future?")
  • Establish an interconnected network of teachers within and across districts for peer-to-peer accountability and support.
