In each of ten weekly sessions, we'll read some newly-published flash fiction (If you've taken a flash course with me before, I promise we'll use different stories.) and turn it inside out to see how it works and discover new craft techniques. Then I'll offer a writing prompt or two based on our discussion, so you can write a new piece of flash. Each live session, you'll also have the option to share your piece with the group for supportive feedback, identifying points of connection with your readers and helping you grow as a writer. This course is miraculously generative--expect to write a ton of new and exciting pieces. And get the empowering sort of feedback that centers and celebrates your intentions as the author.
