PRESIDENT

- Oversees the organization; conducts board and general meetings.
- Represents the organization and serves as a liaison between the College and the organizations by participating in various student panels such as during Parents Weekend, Prospective Students Weekend, etc. if asked.

- Works closely with the Career Development Office, the Alumnae Association, and the Treasurer's Office to organize workshops, alumnae discussions, Stock Pitch competition and panels.

- Coordinates guest-speakers and serves as a representative of the organization

- Should be a dedicated active member.

- Previous board experience is a (BIG) plus.

- Should have excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.

- Should be willing and committed to dedicate time for the organization for the entire academic year

- Must attend all meetings

PORTFOLIO MANAGER

- Buys and sells stocks on behalf of the club using the online trading account (Fidelity), with guidance and consultation of Exc. Director and Portfolio Management Committee.

- Manages and oversees weekly meetings, recruits, interviews and appoints positions related to the Portfolio Management Committee

- Keeps the club updated weekly on the status of the portfolio (verbally or through newsletter).

- Has a strong interest in financial markets and can inform the club about the health of markets and keep them abreast on major financial news.

- Helps to plan weekly meetings.

- You should have a strong desire to learn and/or understanding of the market and remain up to date. You need to be organized and be truly committed to actively manage the portfolio and your team, as it is central to the club's purpose.

- Must attend all meetings

TREASURER

- Oversees the OIG bank account and keeps record of expenses.

- Corresponds with financial controller's about cash needs and reimbursements.

- Keeps a list of all expenditures

- Keep track of expenses for special events (Stock Pitch Competition, Annual Panels, Donation, etc)
- Will be in charge of coordination for gift donation applications and the gift donations club meeting.

- Must attend all meetings.

SECRETARY

- Keeps the OIG website up to date.

- Helps with activities and presentations during meetings.

- Must attend all meetings.

- Reserves space that is needed for meetings and special events.

- Keeps track of subscribers list for the listserv and assists with sending emails

PUBLICITY CHAIR

- Sends club and campus-wide emails to advertise our meetings and events.

- Actively manages and updates all social media related to OIG (Facebook, twitter, etc.) and main OIG page on Bryn Mawr College website

- Creates posters, table tents, and other engaging material for publicity needs.

- Must attend all meetings.
