2. Entrepreneurship / Startups - Tech entrepreneurs and/or startups growing cutting-edge ideas and businesses
3. Tech Leadership - Individuals or organizations who are moving their organization and Rhode Island forward
7. Outstanding Technology Practitioner - An outstanding and expert practitioner within their specific IT field, such as computer hardware, software and website development.
5. Community Partner - Developing Rhode Island’s tech industry through networking and education forums and/or partnerships between industry and education, community-based, or industry organizations
6. Youth Engagement - Fostering the next generation of tech professionals through student engagement including classroom speaking, company tours, mentoring; and/or IT workshops
7. Tech Educator – A person or organization who provides or supports non-traditional education programs or channels. Developing tech grads through offering curricula and programs that are in response to industry/employer skill demand
8. Workforce Development Champion – Committed to the development of the RI technology workforce, including through developing non-traditional education and hiring channels; volunteering time and resources for programs and participants; providing mock interviewing; networking; and/or internships
9. Women in Tech - Developing community and opportunities for women in Rhode Island’s technology fields, including through networking, educational forums, mentorship, and common support
10. Company Innovation – Innovative and “disruptive” technology driven organization or person
