Europeana Sport - Ireland’s Stories is an online collection campaign aiming to share the richness and diversity of sporting history in Ireland through the digital collection of stories and memorabilia from fans, players, enthusiasts, past sporting heroes and heroines.

This Irish campaign is being coordinated under Europeana, the EU platform for digital cultural heritage, which aims to show how sport shapes our sense of self and our sense of Europe, through a variety of remarkable cultural heritage objects that showcase the geographic and cultural diversity of Europe.

Europeana Sport - Ireland’s Stories wishes to grow its partners with any museums, galleries, libraries, archives and associated organisations across Ireland. The campaign currently includes the Digital Repository of Ireland, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, European Expo 2020, Hunt Museum, National University of Ireland, Galway and University of Limerick Conference & Sports Campus as partners.
