Nanaimo Heritage Days Volunteer Registration
Volunteer for the 2015 Nanaimo Heritage Days
Nanaimo Heritage Days is the annual May long weekend celebration with Street Festival, Fireworks and Parade downtown Nanaimo.  And we need your help to make it happen!

Approx. 100 volunteers are required for the EVENT DAY roles including handing out event letters and information to residents & downtown merchants, parade marshaling & registration, road closure monitor, distributing voting ballots along parade route, light duty set up/tear down, information, site maintenance, site security, children’s activities...and more!

All shifts are estimated at 4-5 hours each.  Please check one, or as many shifts as possible that you are available for.

What's next?
Once you have signed up as a volunteer, you will receive additional information via email to confirm your volunteer time slot for either Saturday 16 May or Sunday 17 May 2015.   We ask that you arrive on location 15 minutes minutes before your scheduled shift to sign in and pick up your t-shirt.  All job assignments will be delegated on the day.

SATURDAY 16 MAY (Street Festival & Fireworks)
Volunteer Central will be set up at 223B Commercial street downtown Nanaimo  from 8am - 11pm.  Light refreshments will be offered.

SUNDAY 17 MAY
Volunteer Tent will be set up at the parade marshaling area on the corner of Victoria Road and Selby Street from 8am - 3pm.
