The Sydney Writers Festival returns this May with an exciting program celebrating bold voices in contemporary literature. Don’t miss the chance to hear from two acclaimed Korean authors: Bora Chung, author of The Midnight Timetable and Cursed Bunny, and Susan Choi, author of Flashlight.

Join 2025 Booker Prize–shortlisted writer Susan Choi as she discusses family, absence and alienation in her new novel Flashlight, in conversation with Beejay Silcox.
