Spring 2014 Chemistry Practicals

If you are recently qualified or just starting out as a chemistry teacher then this course is for you.

Experienced teachers will demonstrate and explain all aspects of the following procedures: making up solutions, safety issues relating to making up solutions, dilutions, storage of chemicals, recipes for solutions, redox titrations.

Teachers will have an opportunity to practice these procedures and to try out the new Mandatory experiment: Preparation of Benzoic acid.

So bring your lab coats and be prepared to get your hands wet.

Time: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
