Which text from British literature made the largest impact on you?  Explain.  Is there a work you think should be removed or replaced?
Lewis, Beowulf, Chaucer, Shakespeare, Coleridge (and Romantics), Austen, Dickens, Quo Vadis Articles
Summmer Reading: I may swap it with another text (and teach Lewis in class).  Is that a good idea?  Of all our works, which one would you have liked to read most in the summer?
I'm thinking of making Quo Vadis a weekly, weekend assignment with response on Mondays.  This would add more non-fiction and short stories to the course.  Does that sound enjoyable to you?
Quo Vadis: What was the best article you read (approximate if you don't remember the exact title and author)?
Writing Assignments: Which were most enjoyable or helpful?  Least so?
College Essays, AP Essays, Final Essays, Journals, Notes, CWP's, Posters
AP Test Preparation: Do you feel the course prepared you well for the AP Literature test? Which texts and assignments were most effective in this regard?  What should I do to improve?
Passage-Based Essays, Open-Prompt Essays, Multiple Choice Tests, Memorization Cards, Mnemonics
My teaching style and class environment: What was best? How is my tone and engagement? How can I improve?
Consider daily routines, sentence grammar, class discussions, course expectations
College Focus: What was helpful from our course?  Anything I should add or consider?
Our quarter 1 CWP was your college essay(s); I gave you sample essays from MVCS graduates; I tried to give you less homework near major college deadlines
Course format: How do you like my iPad, binder, and course discussion format? What would you change? Is there something sweet I should imitate from another teacher's course?
Do you think you would you have learned as much or more in my class if I had no binder requirement (i.e. if you did not have to keep a paper-based binder)?  Was our work to discussion ratio good?
iPads: What changes in use or guidelines would make them more academically helpful at MVCS?  In my class, specifically?
What praise and/or advice would you give to Mr. Sharp and his team to make our school better?
Anything else? Thank you!
