Training days/times
Club training will be Sunday 11am, this includes all club members and potential new members.
Ideally teams of 6+ members can self organise and elect to regularly train together (weekly) at times that suit their team. We will work with teams to provide supervision and coaching including steering training with a view to teams becoming self-sufficient.
Times available for weekday training from pākeke will be from 5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Training for rangatahi will be after school 1 day per week with the day and time being determined based on majority of responses. For teams who are committed, training times can be coordinated between the team and coaches.
Where
On-water training will take place at the Oreti river, launcing from the riverside at Invercargill Rowing Club, Sandy Point.
Communication - Paddling Pool
Communication for pākeke (adults) is mainly through the facebook app: Messenger, https://m.me/j/AbbUy8Wm68NUZ8P5/ Please join this group.
