Science as Story - Communicating Science in Unexpected (and Effective) Ways
We are pleased to invite you to a lecture by Terri Cook, science writer (featured in Scientific American, Eos, Lonely Planet) and Head of Communications at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, University of Colorado Boulder.
Join us on 28 November at 5 pm in the Aula Magna "F. Azzone" in the Vallisneri Building, where the speaker will explore innovative approaches to science communication and the power of storytelling to connect audiences with complex scientific concepts, from the geology of the mythical Middle Earth to the science behind NASA’s Europa Clipper mission.
This event is part of the Distinguished Lecture Series of the European Geosciences Union and is organised by the Department of Biology, the Department of Geosciences and the University Museums Centre.
