We are SO excited that you are joining Harlem Jr. Huskies Cheerleading for the 2026–2027 basketball season! We can’t wait to meet our newest cheerleaders, make new friends, build confidence, and have an amazing season together!

📣 ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

Harlem Jr. Huskies Cheerleading is led by Harlem Middle School Cheer Coaches and Cheerleaders and is designed to introduce elementary students to the exciting world of cheerleading in a fun, positive, and encouraging environment.

Our goal is to help young athletes get involved in their schools and community while giving them the opportunity to experience cheerleading before entering middle school and high school.

Throughout the season, cheerleaders will learn the fundamentals of:

⭐ Cheers & Chants
⭐ Jumps & Motions
⭐ Beginning Stunts & Stunt Safety
⭐ Dance & Performance Skills
⭐ Teamwork & Sportsmanship
⭐ Confidence & School Spirit

Cheerleaders will cheer on Harlem Jr. Huskies Basketball teams throughout the season while representing their elementary school and community!

🏫 CHEER WITH YOUR SCHOOL FRIENDS!

One of the BEST parts of Jr. Huskies Cheer is getting to be on a team with friends from your own school!

Elementary cheerleaders will represent their school, build school spirit, and have the opportunity to learn from HMS cheerleaders who may one day become their middle school teammates!

Come make memories, learn new skills, and find out if cheerleading is something you want to continue in middle school and high school!

🏆 END-OF-SEASON SHOWCASE & COMPETITION

Toward the end of the season, the fun gets even BIGGER!

Each elementary team will learn a special cheer routine and prepare to perform at our Annual Harlem Jr. Huskies Cheer Showcase & Competition!

All of our elementary school cheer teams will come together for one exciting event to show off everything they have learned throughout the season.

It’s a celebration of CHEER • SCHOOL SPIRIT • FRIENDSHIP • TEAMWORK • HARLEM PRIDE!
