WHPC Mentorship Program Interest Form
The 2026-2027 Chicago Women in High Performance Computing Mentorship Program will run for 12 months starting in early September 2026, with the possibility to extend the mentorship if the mentor/mentee pair is interested.

We encourage graduate students, postdocs, and early career folks to consider serving as a mentor because you are likely best suited to guide mentees who are currently navigating their undergraduate and graduate studies in computing.

The focus of the mentorship program is high-performance computing (HPC), AI, and quantum computing. It welcomes learners and professionals at all levels, including those interested in technical growth as well as the professional development skills that support success in these fields—such as communication, leadership, collaboration, project planning, and career navigation.

To get started, we request some basic information about you, your career, and your interests in seeking or being a mentor. This information will help us recommend ideal mentor/mentee pairs.

Deadline to register for this mentorship program is: June 29th 2026.

Notification of mentor/mentee pairs will be sent on: August 18th 2026.

Mentorship Meet & Greet - Zoom call: August 28th 2026.

Mentorship program will start on: September 1st 2026.
