Our desire and objectives are for every participant to deepen their conversion by having experiences that will increase their faith in Jesus Christ, allow them to feel the Spirit of Elijah, and ultimately lead them to the Temple as they learn about their ancestors through family history.

To have a more meaningful experience, we are asking that each participant start to Go & Do individually, with your families, and with your ward families before Trek begins. Come as you are, but we promise the better prepared you are, the more significant your experience will be.

Discover what you need to work on, plan on how you will do it, act on your plan in faith, and then reflect on what you have learned in the following areas.

Spiritual

Have daily meaningful prayer and scripture study

Obtain a temple recommend and attend the temple

Find an ancestor (in your own or someone else's line) and submit it for temple work

Go to the Temple and perform the ordinance for the ancestor or someone else's ancestor

Intellectual

Create an account on www.familysearch.org

Prepare and/or review your own four generation chart, learning what you can about these four generations

Select someone to walk for (an ancestor, relative, someone meaningful to you, etc.), then research and write up why you are walking for that person. (Due May 17th)

Physical

Start physical exercise now, leading up to being able to walk and help push your handcart 7-8 miles per day

Social

Tell a friend about Trek or post on social media what you will be doing this summer

Come to Trek ready and willing to meet new people and connect with your family
