ABC Radio internships for 2nd Semester 2016

If you love original stories, the thrill of the chase and the excitement of live broadcasting, then radio is for you.

ABC Radio and ABC Regional radio stations in NSW and the ACT are now calling for interns. The internships will run Sept-Nov 2016, either one day a week for three months, or close to full-time during the month of November.

If you're a student in your third or later year with studies in Communications/Media/Journalism/related courses at a partnering NSW or ACT university, or studying at AFTRS then read on. We are also interested in students of music/science/law/religion/theatre etc who are studying media-related units at the participating universities.

We’re very interested in students who have a broad range of life experiences to bring to the ABC.

Do you come from an Indigenous or diverse cultural background? Do you speak a language other than English? Did you grow up in the outlying suburbs of Sydney or in a regional area? Do you have experience living with disability? If so, we particularly want to hear from you.
