In 2021, Massachusetts secured vital settlement funds from pharmaceutical companies, earmarked to address the opioid crisis and its repercussions. The Commonwealth is committed to allocating these resources to communities annually until 2038, with an anticipated total of $1 billion from settlements. Lynn will receive a minimum of 3.3 million over the next 15 years, including $826,012.06 for fiscal year 2023 and 2024 to date.

The purpose of this survey is to listen and learn about your experience related to Substance Use Disorder in Lynn. The information you share today will help us to focus on areas for change, to develop recommendations that address community needs, and to identify opportunities for innovation and or enhancement to current programming. As the City assesses what areas to prioritize, the city wants to ensure that the community is involved in the planning process and assists with setting broad goals that maximize the funding’s impact.
