St. Joe's Warming Shelter Volunteer Interest Form

Share your time, talents and treasure!

St. Joe’s will be operating cold weather shelter at a hotel during winter months on days with extreme cold. Working with local government, police, fire and other agencies, the cold weather shelter is intended to supplement the needs that exceed the current shelter capacity of the community during extreme weather.

Those seeking shelter will be provided a room.  They will be able to shower and rest in a safe environment.  Meals will be provided for guests.  Faith communities interested in helping with meals can get added as a food provider.  Let us know in the comment section or contact Mike.

Volunteers will be needed to support the shelter program.  Must be age 18+ for on-site shelter volunteers. Orientation for volunteers will be provided.  There will always be an experienced shift leader on duty.

A sign-up genius notice will be sent out via email when the cold weather shelter program is scheduled to open.  You would sign up for specific shifts using the sign-up genius.

Donations to fund rooms and operate the shelter will also be needed.  A list of items needed will be sent out periodically as a sign-up genius notice and you will be able to sign up for specific needs that you are able to provide.

If you are interested in helping support the shelter with donations and/or your volunteer time and talent, please complete the following information.
