Klein News Innovation Camp pre-planned session submission
Once known as Barcamp News Innovation, the 9th annual Klein News Innovation Camp will again feature some select pre-planned sessions in the otherwise unconference-style open format. New this year, we'll have attendees vote on the sessions they'd most want to see take place.

KNIC sessions are 50-minutes long. They're encouraged to be interactive and conversational, though often prepared presentations are included. Though more than 200 attendees will be there, individual session rooms range from 10 to 50, depending on the topic.

Submitted sessions will be voted on during the morning of the event, between 9am-9:45am on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at Temple University's Annenberg Hall in Philadelphia, Pa. For more information go to

Proposed Session Title
What will attendees get out of your session?
What is the goal, overview content and general hope you have for the session?
Who else will co-lead the session with you?
We strongly encourage sessions to have multiple facilitators to encourage interaction. We also will prioritize sessions that include speakers from underrepresented groups, including, but not limited to, people of color and those who do not identify as male.
