This program is available to students ages 8–18 beginning with auditions
September 12, rehearsals will begin in January and ending with a main stage musical performance of
Frozen JR at the Richard Brown Fine Arts Center in March. The rehearsal schedule is based on student availability as well as casting. Please note that schedules will vary week to week.
This is an audition based program, with the exception of Allegro's Act I and II classes, who will be featured as the Chorus members. If you are in Act I or ACT II and would like to audition for a speaking role you are welcome to sign up. There is no charge to audition.
Once cast, the performance fee covers the cost of show licensing, costumes, props, sets, and facility. You can choose to pay $400 in full up front, or installments of $134 for three months.
Audition Workshop and Q&A
Tuesday, September 8 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM in the Musical Theatre Studio (located between Studio E and A, where the pilates studio used to be).
During this workshop we will help you prepare a song to sing for auditions, answer questions you may have about the program, and meet the new members of our production team. If you have a song you would like to sing for auditions please feel fee to bring it. This workshop is optional, yet highly encouraged.
Auditions
Saturday, September 12 at Allegro in the Musical Theatre Studio (located between Studio E and A, where the pilates studio used to be).
Individual Auditions
Saturday, September 12 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM in the Musical Theatre studio space

Callbacks
If you are called back we will email you after your Saturday audition.
Sunday September 12 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in the Musical Theatre Studio.
What to prepare
Prepare 30 seconds of a song of your choice that fits the style of Frozen, anything Disney or from a musical should work (please do not sing a song from the actual show). You can prepare to sing a cappella or with a karaoke track.

Rehearsals
Cast members should expect 1- 4 hours of rehearsal per week (schedule depending on student availability) Leads may require extra rehearsal time. Please note, you will not always be called to rehearsal, the schedule will be created after students provide conflicts.
Allegro Location:
Allegro is located at 655 SW 2nd Ave, in front of CHS and on the same road as McDonalds. Heading south on 99E, take a left on Elm St. and a right on 2nd Ave. We are on the left hand side of the road.
