Volunteer for NYC PRIDE fest!

Join us on Sunday, June 29th to make your voice heard! When you volunteer with Amnesty International USA for PRIDE, you’ll join 300,000 other activists from around the country who believe in human rights for all people- regardless of sexual orientation. We're accepting volunteers now and hope that you can join us! Help us continue to grow the movement for human rights for everyone!

• Do you want to collect petition signatures? (current Amnesty members ONLY)
When? Sunday, June 29th
What time? Multiple shifts throughout the day
Where? The approximate address is Hudson St between Abingdon Sq and West 14th street.
Volunteers will work in 2 hour shifts to gather signatures on petitions. AIUSA will provide petitions around our LGBT human rights work for the tablers and you will encourage Pride fest attendees to come to the Amnesty table and sign these petitions. We will be highlighting various cases of LGBT related human rights abuses. Volunteers during the first and last shift will also spend time setting up and taking down the table. Volunteers should be prepared to be on their feet for 2 hours.

When? Sunday, June 29th
What time? Approximately 10:30am meeting and 4:30 finish
Where? The approximate meeting point in the morning is 36th and 5th.
Volunteers will meet by 10:30am to line up for the parade. The official line up begins at 11:00am and the parade starts at 12:00pm. Volunteers should be able to be on their feet for about 6 hours (including line up time).
