ALL SESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON ZOOM ON THURSDAYS @ 6 PM PST (8 PM CST / 9 PM EST)
Pastor Terry Kyllo invites participants to explore how faith, courage, and love of neighbor can help us move toward a society where everyone belongs and everyone can thrive.
April 16, 2026: "Go and Do Likewise: Following Jesus into Our Common Humanity"
In this session, Pastor Terry Kyllo introduces the core ideas of his book Go and Do Likewise: Following Jesus into Our Common Humanity. Drawing on Scripture, social research, and years of interfaith bridge-building, Terry explores why humans naturally form “in-groups” and “out-groups,” and how fear and power can turn those instincts into division and dehumanization.
But the Christian story offers another path. From the call of Abraham to the ministry of
Jesus and the vision of “all nations” in Revelation, the Bible points toward a larger human
family under one Creator.
Together we will explore how following Jesus calls us beyond fear of other groups toward courage, humility, and relationship with neighbors who are different from us. This session offers a practical starting point for Christians who want to live out their faith in a divided time.

April 23, 2026: "The Society We Deserve: Where Everyone Belongs and Everyone Can Thrive"
Many people today feel anxious about the future of our communities and our country. In this webinar, Pastor Terry Kyllo explores why division and distrust have grown so strong, and how forces in our media, politics, and economy often amplify fear between groups.
Drawing on social research, Christian teaching, and years of bridge-building work across deep differences, Terry offers a hopeful vision for renewing our common life. At the heart of that vision is a simple idea: a healthy society is built on the belief that every person has equal dignity and the responsibility to love our neighbor.
This conversation invites participants to imagine—and help build—a society where everyone belongs and everyone can thrive.

April 30, 2026: "Strategies of Love: Where Do We Start?"
What would it look like to build a society where everyone belongs and everyone can thrive? In this webinar, Pastor Terry Kyllo explores a hopeful vision for our common life rooted in love of neighbor. Drawing on Scripture, social research, and community experience, Terry will introduce three practical strategies for living this vision today: Bridge, Block, and Build.
Bridge work brings people together across lines of difference to build trust and belonging. Block work protects people and communities from dehumanization and harm. Build work strengthens the institutions and practices that help communities flourish.
Participants will hear stories from individuals and organizations engaged in each of these strategies and explore how love of neighbor can become a public practice that helps our communities move toward a society where everyone belongs and everyone can thrive. We will also share practical tools and strategies that we can use immediately to begin this work in our own relationships and communities.
