☐Drop-off Coordinator
• You will be the point person at drop-off. Must be very friendly! You will be checking in consignors as they come in for their appointment. Requires the ability to multi task. You must have a detail-oriented eye and to be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Time required – Monday 4pm-8pm, Tuesday 10pm-8pm, Wednesday 10pm-6pm (total of 20 hours)
☐Drop-off Entrance/Drive Thru Leader
• You will be the point person at the drop-off drive thru entrance. Must be very friendly and have the ability to multitask! You will be directing & unloading cars as they come in for their appointment. You must have a detail-oriented eye and to be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Time required – Monday 4pm-8pm, Tuesday 10pm-8pm, Wednesday 10pm-6pm (total of 20 hours)
☐Drop-off Organizers – Team Leader
• Be on the sales floor managing the products as they are dropped off. You will direct other volunteers as to where items should be placed. You will be working to organize a specific section on the sales floor. This means you will proactively need to find merchandising solutions (e.g. make it easier for customers to look at merchandise) When you notice that we’re getting multiples of toys (e.g. shape sorters or stacking rings, create a new category and merchandise all items together). This position requires you to be VERY organized, have a love of organizing, be a self-starter and think of creative solutions.
• Time required – Monday 4pm-8pm, Tuesday 10pm-8pm, Wednesday 10pm-6pm (total of 20 hours)
☐Drop-off Inspector/ Clothing
• You will be inspecting each item that is brought into drop off & assisting other volunteers. You must have a detail-oriented eye and not be afraid or embarrassed to return items that are not acceptable or do not follow TKC guidelines. Must be very friendly!
• Time required – Monday 4pm-8pm, Tuesday 10pm-8pm, Wednesday 10pm-6pm (total of 20 hours)
☐Drop-off Inspector/ Large Items
• You will be inspecting each large item (toys, baby equipment & furniture) that is brought into drop off & assisting other volunteers. You must have a detail-oriented eye and not be afraid or embarrassed to return items that are not acceptable or do not follow TKC guidelines. Must be very friendly!
• Time required – Monday 4pm-8pm, Tuesday 10pm-8pm, Wednesday 10pm-6pm (total of 20 hours)
☐Scanners
• Requires the ability to multi task in a faced paced environment.
• Time Required – Thursday 2pm-9pm (required), Friday 10am-5pm (required), Saturday 10am-4pm (optional), Sunday 10-4 pm (optional). There is some flexibility in these hours. You must choose a total of 20 hours.
☐Sales Associate – Team Leader
• Be on the sales floor assisting other volunteers, managing the products (re-filling tables/racks, rotating products as they thin out, etc.) selling to customers, watching for theft.
• Time Required – Thursday 2pm-9pm (required), Friday 10am-5pm (required), Saturday 10am-4pm (optional), Sunday 10-4 pm (optional). There is some flexibility in these hours. You must choose a total of 20 hours.
☐Security/Door – Team Leader
• Assisting customers and checking customer receipts as customers enter and leave the building. This position requires you to be outgoing and friendly. You must have a detail-oriented eye and the ability to multi task in a faced paced environment. If you see theft or something suspicious you cannot be afraid to approach the situation.
• Time Required – Thursday 2pm-9pm, Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10-6pm. You will choose or a total of 20 peak hours.
Please note that we require 20 hours for each position. Some of the positions listed show more than 20 hours in that case your schedule will be made within the hours listed for the position you choose. Unfortunately you cannot mix positions types to fulfill your hours. Committee hours must be fulfilled by one person. We ask that you have participated in at least one sale prior to applying for a committee position. Priority is given to committee members who have served in the past. Availability is limited.
