2022 AGASC Glass Boutique Application Due Midnight Sunday, November 6, 2022
Exhibit Location: Gallery 21, 1770 Village Place, Spanish Village, Balboa Park, San Diego CA 92101
Show Dates: Friday, November 18, 2022, through Monday, November 28, 2022, 
                       Closed Thankgiving, November 24, 2022
 

Membership is required for application to the show. To apply go to www.agasc.org where you may pay with PayPal! All members are encouraged to participate. We emphasize educating the public about art glass and welcome all levels.

You must deliver the work Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 4-7 pm.

Entries due by midnight November 6, 2022

Entry Fee:  $20 for up to 30 pieces of jewelry, if you have anything else or a combination of jewelry and something else the fee is $20 for 20 pieces.

AGASC Board requires that everyone who enters the Glass Boutique sit at least one day of the Exhibition/Glass Boutique.

                                                            ABOUT THE GLASS BOUTIQUE

The "Cash and Carry Glass  Boutique" concept is for AGASC artists to be able to sell gift items of their work during the show period. (You DO NOT have to be entered into the Gallery Show)  "Collections" of approximately 5 to 20/30 smaller items would be ideal.  Please bring any stand or displays that you would like us to use to merchandise your items. We welcome them but do not commit to using them.  Help support AGASC and yourself.

Remember that 20% goes to Gallery 21 and 10% to AGASC.

You can bring list on the application back-up stock to replace sold items.

APPLICATION PROCESS: All entry forms must be received by Sunday, November 6th by midnight.  

You DO NOT have to be in the Gallery Show to enter items in the Glass Boutique.  


BOUTIQUE DROP OFF: Tuesday, November 15th, 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  Please bring your labeled items to Gallery 21 in Spanish Village between 4pm-7pm. You may NOT drive on the patio at any time.  

 
BOUTIQUE PICK UP: Monday, November 28th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. (We MUST be out of Gallery 21 by 7:00pm) You may NOT drive on the patio at any time.  If someone other than yourself is picking up your items, you must call ahead to verify. Please call the Art Glass Guild 619-702-8006 between 11am-4pm any day to verify who will be picking up your artwork.

Any items not picked up by 5pm on November 28th becomes the property of the AGASC.

Other Rules of the Glass Boutique

1. All Artists must be full, current members of the Art Glass Assoc. of Southern California (AGASC).

2. All glass pieces must be designed and fabricated by the applicant. No assists or group projects unless acknowledged upon application.

3. All items must be for sale.

4. Items must contain some handmade glass.

5. Items not picked up on Monday, November 28th will become the property of the AGASC.
 
6. Photographs are the property of the AGASC and may be used for publicity, on our website and in the newsletter.
 
7. All participants must man the show and glass boutique for 5 hours.

8. 20% of all sales will go to Spanish Village and 10% will go to the AGASC.

9.The AGASC and its agents are in no way responsible for loss, theft, damage, or breakage of items. Every effort will be made to protect your work.

10. Depending on the number of artists entered in the Glass Boutique and the size of your art pieces, we may not have room to place all 20/30 pieces out for sale. But, we will place out as many as we can. As we sell your items, we will replenish the inventory with the items not placed out.

11.  Labels will be prepared and provided at the Boutique drop off to provide uniformity and necessary information.

12.  Number/label each of your pieces with your last name and 1-20 to correspond with the entry number on the application.  So that the first entry is labeled Name-1, the second entry is labeled Name-2, and so on.
