Educational Program Booking Policy
Fort Edmonton Park strives to offer quality educational programming at affordable rates. Our ability to continue this practice requires careful management of resources. When we are unable to re-book a program due to short-notice cancellations the program delivery costs increase. The following policy has been implemented to minimize lost time and maximize the opportunity for classes to book programs.

Booking policies will be strictly enforced. Please read the following carefully and obtain all approvals necessary to ensure that funding is in place PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A REQUEST to book your program(s).

Please check here to acknowledge that you understand that due to ongoing construction there will be no education programs occurring at Fort Edmonton Park for the 2018-2019 school year. All programs will be occurring inside your classroom.
Payment Process & Cancellation Policy
You are required to submit written notice of cancellation of program(s) via email to

Programs cancelled with 30 days notice or more will not be charged the program fee or a cancellation fee. Programs cancelled with 8-29 days notice are subject to be charged 50% of the program fee unless the cancellation is filled by another group. For programs cancelled with 7 days notice or less, the full program fee will be charged.

Programs cancelled due to severe weather conditions will not be charged a cancellation fee as long as they are rescheduled within the current or upcoming school year fall term (September - November).

Full payment is due the first day of the month before your program is scheduled. An invoice will be mailed to you when payment is due. The following two payment options are available:

1) By mail to the address below by cheque.
2) By telephone to 780-496-3453 with a credit card

Cheques are payable to the City of Edmonton.
NOTE: The rental number should be referenced on the payment.

Acknowledge - Payment Process & Cancellation Policy *
Subject to availability, program(s) may be rebooked/rescheduled for another program of equal or greater value, within the same school year (or in the upcoming fall term in the event of inclement weather).

A minimum of 2 weeks notice prior to the originally booked program date is required for a rebooking/rescheduling request to be processed.

If the rebooked/rescheduled program is of greater value than the originally booked program, the balance of payment is due at the time of rebooking/rescheduling.

The value of the payment received for the cancelled program will be credited against the cost of the rebooked/rescheduled program.
