Thundercat Sports Academy Scholarship Application

Thundercat Sports Academy is proud to announce the development of the no player left behind scholarship program. This program is to help offset the cost of team fees for the 2024 season. To be a recipient of the scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Write a 1-page essay on why you want to be a Thundercat

  • Must participate in at least 2 TCat fundraisers during the year

  • Participate in all practices and tournament games (Exceptions for sickness / prior commitments)

  • Must complete 15 hours of community service and submit documentation of completion (must be completed before the end of the season)

  • Provide one letter of recommendation 

  • Try out and make a current Thundercat Softball or Baseball team

  • Minimum of a 2-year commitment to TCats (unless your age does not permit you to)

  • Age ranges are as follows: Baseball 12U-17U, (Age cutoffs are Baseball 6/1, )

  • 1 award per family

  • Application and essay must be filled out and sent to thundercatacademy@gmail.com

  • All applications will be reviewed by a panel of TCat representatives
