Thanks to many generous partners, Arizona Science Center is pleased to offer a limited number of bus transportation grants to Arizona schools. These grants provide free bus transportation to and from Arizona Science Center for Arizona students in grades K–8. Grants are awarded for transportation costs up to $1,000.
Grants will be awarded from each of three zones: Zone 1 includes schools within 50 miles of Arizona Science Center; Zone 2 includes schools 51–150 miles of the Center; and Zone 3 includes schools greater than 150 miles of the Center.
If your school is selected to receive funding, you are expected to complete a short evaluation within two weeks of your field trip. Funds will be released to your school or district following the receipt of your evaluation. Details will be included in your award notification letter.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Teachers must complete this application form and send in their transportation quotes by September 28 (incomplete packages will not be considered). Funded educators will be notified of their award by October 5. Field trips must be taken by March 1. Please note: grants are not transferable.
FIELD TRIP RESERVATIONS
If you receive funding, it is your responsibility to make and/or cancel reservations for busing and the field trip to Arizona Science Center.
