4C3 exit survey
As you know, I value your input on all aspects of the work I do here at McMaster. I'd like some feedback from you on:

1. Google Docs (whether you use it, or not)
2. The ChemEng department website
3. Anything about 4C3/6C3 that I can improve
4. Electronic textbooks

1. Google Docs
Tell me about your experience using Google Docs. Answer some/all of these questions in any way you prefer.

1. Would you use Google Docs again to submit assignments and projects?
2. Did you experience any technical difficulties?
3. Was the process of using Google Docs confusing in any way?
4. Would you use Google Docs - outside of class - to collaborate on work?
5. Do you feel it was similar to using Microsoft Word?
6. What were any advantages over Microsoft Word?
7. And any disadvantages?

(I'm giving a talk to other university faculty in May on Google Docs; your comments will be used as some of the content).
If you choose to submit assignments by paper, why tell me why you prefer paper. If you submitted electronically, please answer the above questions.
2. The ChemEng department website
This question is about http://chemeng.mcmaster.ca (not the 4C3 website).
What parts of the ChemEng website do you use? *
What would you like to see on the ChemEng website that's not there now? *
Anything else about the ChemEng website you would like to say? *
3. Improvements to 4C3/6C3 for 2014
Please list any suggested improvements you would like to see for 4C3 in future years. *
4. Electronic textbooks
I'm curious as to your opinion on allowing future students to use tablet computers, such as iPads or even cell phones, in engineering midterms and final exams. Especially in courses, such as this one, where open book exams are used. We expect university textbooks to be available almost exclusively in electronic form, in the very near future. And since the internet and wi-fi capability on these devices cannot not be turned off (or at least enforced), should we just accept that internet connectivity can and will be used. Does it even matter if students use internet connections for midterms and exams?
Any opinions or thoughts on this problem are useful.
