Register for "Facilitating Learning Online" FLO: Fall 2015

FLO (Facilitating Learning Online) is a four-week online course offered through Brown's School of Professional Studies, in which faculty, TAs, instructors, and staff experience what it’s like to be an online learner from the STUDENT perspective, and to safely participate in a fully online course before developing or facilitating one of their own.

This course will challenge you to rethink and adjust your current teaching practice through researched-based content, assignments, and facilitator-lead discussions that demonstrate how effective online learning can be, when properly designed and facilitated.

FLO graduates consistently design and lead their online courses with greater efficiency, fewer frustrations, more enjoyment, and with a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges of teaching and learning online. This makes for a better online teaching and learning experience for faculty and students alike!

Please let us know why you would like to take the FLO course by submitting the form below. We look forward to your contributions to the class!
