Foundation „Baltic Regional fund” will organize youth exchange project ''Choice not chance'' in 04.02.-11.02.2018.which will take place in Ogre region and Riga, Latvia and where will participate 5 youngsters and youth leader from each country - Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine and Moldova, but for Latvian youth will participate 6 young people and 1 leader of the group, together 26 youngsters aged 16-25 years and 5 group leaders. Profile of participants - young people who are interested in international exchange project activities and wants to get know other EU countries cultures. Youngsters who are dropped out from school, unemployed or who have been unemployed and young people with a voluntary work experience. From each state will participate young people with fewer opportunities, who has economically or social barriers and young people with a migration or refugee experience.

The project aim is to help young people to discover and understand their strengths personality sides in order to better assess their professional opportunities, to promote young people's susceptibility and generally reduce youth risk of exclusion, which often is because young people do not study, do not work and are not active because they has not found there call .

The project is planned using a variety of non-formal education methods, including NFI unique new tool "8KEYCOM" which help young people get to know and explore themselves, examine and compare the further education and occupation opportunities according to their competencies and expectations. Project sub-goal is to promote friendly relations between young people of different cultures, lesson-learning from each other, reduce stigma and increase social cohesion that young people become more active and tolerant European citizens. This youth exchange project young people will be able to understand different cultures and their importance in today's society.

Youth will develop their personal and professional competence, which will be important knowledge in daily life for themselves, as well as other youngsters with whom they will share their experience and knowledge. Talk and explore more their desire and motivation in self-exploring, growth and development of their personalities.Get more information about international exchange project activities and get to know other EU countries cultures.
