SMIA Equality and Diversity monitoring form

The Scottish Music Industry Association strives to meet the aims and commitments set out in its equality policy. This includes not discriminating under The Equality Act 2010, and building an accurate picture of the make-up of the workforce in encouraging equity and diversity.

We collect information on age; gender; ethnicity; disability; sexual orientation; and religion – all defined ‘protected characteristics’ in The Equality Act 2010. We also collect information on lived experience not specifically covered by The Equality Act 2010, as we recognise that there are also specific barriers and lack of opportunities faced by people with this lived experience.

All information will be anonymised and collected in accordance with our SMIA Recruitment Privacy Notice. The information provided will be kept confidential and will be used for monitoring purposes.
