We’re hiring an Electrical Power Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and validation of power systems for our next-generation satellite platforms.
🌟 Your Role & Impact
As our Power Systems Engineer, you will:
• Architect and design electrical power subsystems (solar arrays, batteries, power distribution, converters)
• Perform detailed simulations, analyses, and trade studies (e.g., power budgets, thermal coupling, radiation effects)
• Integrate and interface with other subsystems (avionics, thermal, structure)
• Define, develop, and execute test plans, qualification tests, environmental stress screening, and fault injections
• Support the generation of technical documentation: schematics, wiring diagrams, interface control documents, test reports
• Lead debugging, failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (system engineering, test, manufacturing) to deliver robust and reliable solutions
✅ What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Electronics, or a related field
• 3 to 8+ years of experience with spacecraft or high-reliability power systems (solar arrays, battery systems, DC/DC converters, power distribution)
• Strong understanding of radiation effects, thermal coupling, durability in space environment
• Hands-on experience with electrical test setups, qualification testing, fault injection, and system-level integration
• Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice)
• Experience with design tools and documentation (e.g., Altium, Cadence, schematics, IPC)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
