Imran, Shabana and their two children have been living in Astoria, Queens for more than a decade. They have two beautiful children who are exceptional students, they have paid taxes and contributed to our city and our country. However, due to a minor traffic violation, they were pulled over in Buffalo while attempting to visit Niagra Falls and now find themselves in deportation proceedings. With legal assistance, they are applying for Political Asylum, but it is incredibly important to show broad scale community support so that their family can stay united here in New York City.
