We're here to look beyond the daily issues of "Why is this not working?!" and focus on reducing the frequency of those "Why is this not working?!" moments through long term education and growth instead.
That said, even in our context, it can still be useful to talk about instances of "Why is this not working?!", not to find solutions, but to look for patterns and view issues as symptoms of a bigger problem.
To make an analogy, if you have an acute toothache, you need to see a dentist, but if you keep having toothaches over and over again, that indicates a bigger underlying problem. Maybe you're not brushing your teeth so well, maybe you're drinking too much sugary drinks, etc.. So in order to stop having toothaches over and over again, what you would need to learn how to brush your teeth well, how to eat and drink healthy, and then incorporate those good practices into your life by forming healthy habits.
This workshop is about learning good practices and forming healthy habits, for code and all things tech. If that sounds pretty boring to you, consider that the probable alternative is a life in pain.
In order to make this workshop as useful to you as possible, we need to know your pains and your goals. Please be as specific as possible. We will review, group, and compile the answers. We will publish them in anonymized form. We will look for common patterns and focus on addressing those first. All answers are optional and you can submit the form as many times as you want.
The organizers of the workshop are Jonas Bötel (
