Member Recruitment Form
Introduction: This
application form is used to recruit KCFA committee members to serve in various
departments where their services are needed. Prospective members will complete
the form and indicate the department they feel called to serve in. If one is
not conversant with all the KCFA departments, complete the form and the board
will match you based on your strengths. 
Requirement: Committee
members will attend all departmental meetings held by the specific department
they serve. Committee members will also be expected to attend and participate
in the 12 monthly board meetings in a non-voting capacity. A committee member
will not be absent to 3 consecutive departmental meetings unless the individual
is out of the country and has notified the director of the department they
serve. 
Commitment: Between
working within and outside of meetings, the hours of commitment would probably
vary between 3-5 hours per month. The committee members are encouraged to
participate in the development activities of their department including fundraising.
Committee members like Board members are expected to commit to this role for a
minimum of one 3 year term period. One is therefore encouraged to examine their
work and family schedules, count the costs of their involvement, before making
the commitment.
