Liability Waiver: By signing to volunteer and participate in the City of Water Day Cleanup Event, I, as the volunteer or as an adult parent or guardian of a child under 18 years of age who is registered as an event participant, do hereby agree to waive and release for myself and/or child (if applicable), any and all claims arising out of or in any way related to the event  that may come into existence against the City of Paterson, its elected and appointed officials, employees and volunteers, professionals and others working on the behalf of the City as well as the Passaic River Coalition, NYNJ Hudson Harbor Program, USEPA, Waterfront Alliance, and the Hudson River Foundation.

With this liability waiver, I hold harmless all of the above during the Water Day Cleanup when engaging in any activities that could result in injury, death or property damages.

I hereby consent to the above liability waiver.

Note:  Our free Kayaking with River of God requires filing similar paperwork on site and the permission of a parent or guardian for those under 18 years of age.

Paterson CC Waiver 

We understand that participation in the Clean Communities program involves activities which pose a potential risk of property or personal injury. Some examples of these activities include handling sharp or heavy trash; working outdoors in weather that can turn unexpectedly hot, cold, windy or stormy and walking on grassed surfaces which can conceal sharp objects. I/We assume all risks associated with the participation in the program and hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators waive and release the New Jersey Council, officers, and employees from all claims, liability, risk of loss or injury and damages of any kind including wrongful death associated with or arising out of my/our participation in the Clean Community Program. I/We certify that I/We have reviewed and understand the Clean Community Program information packet materials prior to my/our participation in the program. I/We understand that while those materials contain instructions intended to protect me from injury, even my full compliance with those instructions will not guarantee that no injury will occur.

  IF SIGNATORY IS LESS THAN 18 YEARS OF AGE,

 THIS WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN

 PARENTS OF ALL STUDENTS MUST SIGN

Information you provide when registering will be shared with the account owner and host and can be used and shared by them in accordance with their Terms and Privacy Policy.
