Assessing our waste habits is very important today because our land, air, and water are being infested with plastic. Anything from straws to electronics are causing harm to species who live in the ocean and on land. By refusing, reducing, reusing(+repair), recycling & rotting we can change our global waste problem.

That being said, I am challenging all students by taking a week long challenge that will show how much waste you collect in one school week!

The rules are simple!
You must carry ALL waste that you generate in a clear bag all week long.
Items that are recyclable must be kept in the bag.
No female hygiene products or toilet paper.
No food waste, just keep this in mind because even this creates a majority of our waste.
All items must be cleaned.
All items must be kept within a 5 foot radius of you.

Prizes will be handed out at the end of the week at our Wrap Up and Weigh-In Event on Friday February 1 in room SU 319 from 12:30pm to 1:20pm

Challenge Duration: January 28 - February 1, 2019
