Voluntary Transfer Process for Classified Employees
Classified employees who are interested in voluntarily transferring and are willing to change any of the following must complete this form as part of the Voluntary Transfer process:
- Work location
- Work hours
- Work months
In accordance with PC Rule 60.200.1 B, Voluntary Transfer request forms will be used to create eligibility lists for voluntary transfers. These lists will remain active for one year. After one year, employees must submit a new transfer request to be considered for transfer opportunities. If there is no current transfer request on file, the employee will not be considered for any transfer opportunities. All properly submitted transfer requests will be considered.
Please note that when you submit a new transfer request, it will supersede any previous requests you have made. If you need to edit or update your transfer request at any point, you may do so by submitting a new form. While completing the form ensures your eligibility for consideration, it does not guarantee a transfer. Transfer decisions will be made based on two main factors: (1) interest and (2) seniority.
Once an employee accepts a voluntary transfer, they will be ineligible for another transfer for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. After this period, the employee will be eligible to request another transfer.
