Primarily focusing on Maternal Mental Health, Malketha Maternal Services is an organization whose main objective is providing respectful and quality mother-centered services with emphasis on the mental health of Primary, secondary and Tertiary caregivers for children during their Early Childhood Development phase. At Malketha Maternal services, we believe that a wholesome mother; physically, mentally and emotionally vibrant, is the most important aspect of a child’s life. Right from the moment of conception, to well after the delivery of the baby, Malketha Maternal Services ensures that mothers are well informed, well equipped and satisfactorily taken care of so that they in turn, can cater to their children.

Some of the objectives of Malketha Maternal services is to demystify the role of mental health in Maternal Health and Early Childhood Development; to encourage and facilitate the conversations around maternal mental health and its ripple effect on the health, livelihood and economy of communities and Uganda as a country. The goal is to be part of the collective effort as we strive to achieve the sustainable development goals, Goal 3 in particular (Good health and well-being) and as an avenue for One health.
