Explore the rapidly warming Arctic with Data Puzzles

Calling all middle school science teachers! Complete this application to participate in our first-ever pilot webinar focused on cohesively integrating Data Puzzle lessons into your curriculum. In this event, we'll engage with the Not All Warming is Equal lesson as learners and collaboratively delve into the big science ideas embedded in the lesson to  identify entry points into and out of the lesson in order to build coherency.  Participants can expect to leave with 1) a greater understanding of the mechanisms driving both rising global temperatures and unequal rates of warming, and 2) having identified a place within their existing curriculum to integrate the resource.

This virtual pilot webinar will meet:

  • Thursday, April 3rd from 4:00 - 6:00 pm MT

Inclusion criteria: You are eligible to participate if you are a 1) middle school science teacher, and 2) can commit to being an active participant in this webinar event!

You will be compensated $75 for attending this webinar series and completing the survey as part of the research activities.
