We've received your application and look forward to seeing you FRIDAY evening for Georgetown Community Hospital's Colt & Filly Review Parade!

THEME: "Storybook Stables: Once Upon A Parade"

In preparation for the event, we have a few housekeeping items:

The Georgetown Community Hospital's Colt & Filly Review Parade on Friday, Sept. 6 is a RAIN OR SHINE event.

Please share it with your ENTIRE group.

All participants must be in place on Military Street/Memorial Drive by 6:15 p.m. for the start of the parade at 6:30 p.m. Please be advised of traffic on Clayton Avenue and all connecting roads.

Groups are responsible to set their own designated meet-up locations. A suggested group meet-up spot is illustrated on the parade map attached. Please share your meet-up location with your ENTIRE group.

Parade Rules:
1. Assumption of Risk Form: The assumption of risk form is required.

2. Theme and Child Orientation: All entries must be on a theme, including children, or be child-oriented.

3. Signage Guidelines: Organizations are welcome and encouraged to display signs representing their group. Again, please remember that this parade is intended for a family audience. Entries without signage clearly identifying the name of the organization represented will not be judged.

4. Flyers and Pamphlets: Flyers, pamphlets, etc., are NOT permitted.

5. Candy Passing: Candy passing is allowed, but candy throwing is NOT. Please supervise those who are handling the candy.

6. Float Safety: No one may get off their float or stand on floats anytime during the parade. NO EXCEPTIONS! All floats must have adult walkers alongside to ensure the safety of those onboard.

7. Horse Units: Due to noise, lights, and candy passing, we DO NOT recommend horse units participate in this parade. All horse units should participate in Saturday night’s Grand Parade of Horse, an all-horse parade.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the positive spirit and safety of the Colt and Filly Parade. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification.

Thank you for your participation and support.
